HMG's AllPsych publishes fourth Online Text.

West Palm Beach, Fla. - March 11, 2004 - A new online textbook has been added to the AllPsych Website (http://allpsych.com) appropriately following their publication of The Statistics Primer in February.  This new text, Research Methods for Education and the Social Sciences, is a ten chapter, three unit online textbook covering all of the major material related to a undergraduate or graduate research class.  With nearly 200 pages of printed material, the Research Methods text starts with the basics of research from development of a theory through hypothesis testing.  It also provides a directed approach to gathering information and using the results of an experiment to write a professional research article.  Unit II is focused on the various methods for doing research, including single subject, experimental, qualitative, and historical approaches.  Unit III summarizes the important descriptive and inferential statistics and completes the text with a chapter related to the critical analysis of research.  

AllPsych Online now offers four free online texts in psychology and the social sciences: Psychology 101, Personality Theory, Statistics Primer, and Research Methods.  Combined with their updated psychology dictionary, new Journal articles, the material makes up more than 2000 printed pages of psychology related information.
